The Airport Taxi Association was established in May 2001.
We are currently at a total of 80 members.
All members are required to have updated documents such as insurance, driver’s license and inspection.
Some of the drivers even communicate through radio frequency just to make sure that your pick-ups and drop-offs go as smoothly as possible.
We are prompt to take you to and from the airport at any time of day/night or any other destination on St. Maarten/St. Martin.
We do pick-ups and drop-offs, tours and we can even take you shopping and back! You can even have a personal taxi driver for the whole day.
We are able to take you to the French side as well because there is no hassle when crossing our borders.

Our visitors must be very careful as to which driver they choose,
because there are illegal Taxi Imposters,
known as “gypsies”, who claim to be taxis.

Legitimate taxi drivers have license plates
with the word “Taxi” written on them
and they have permits as well
