As the first line of contact for visitors arriving on the Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIA) and needing taxi transfers from the SXM Airport to their place of stay, whether it is a hotel, villa, condo, yacht or private home, we consider ourselves ambassadors and will do our utmost to represent our fascinating vacation destination of St. Maarten with its many languages, amicable personalities and multi-cultural society to the best of our ability, with pride, professionalism and courtesy in order to make your time on The Friendly Island truly a memorable one. So much so that you will be happy to return to our lovely island filled with many beaches, attractions and great shopping opportunities.
The St. Maarten Airport Taxi Association (ATA) was established in May 2001. We are currently at a total of 145 members. All members are required to have updated documents such as driver’s license, insurance and inspection papers. Some of the drivers even communicate through radio frequency just to make sure that your transfers, pick-ups and drop-offs, go as smoothly as possible.
We are prompt to take you to and from the airport or any other destination on St. Maarten/St. Martin at any time of the day or night. We do pick-ups and drop-offs, tours and we can even take you shopping and back! You can even have one of our taxi association members as a personal taxi driver for the whole day, whether for touring the island, for exploring the mountain tops and beautiful beaches or for restaurant & bar hopping.
We are able to take you to the French side of Saint Martin as well because there is no hassle nor restrictions when crossing our borders. So you can also visit the capital of Marigot, the village of Grand Case or our world famous Orient Bay beach.
